A sculpture of sound equipment that produces no sound. A mallet held overhead, in tension.
A sculpture assembled entirely from the contents of a sound studio moving box: microphones, speakers, stands, cables, books, packing materials. Though made of sound equipment, it produces none.
Suspended by a ratchet strap. The tension holding it aloft is shared with a mallet pinned overhead. To stand beneath it is to enter a contract of risk. The fall is possible, implied, unresolved.
